Pirated NCERT books found

The issue of piracy is more prevalent in printed books than in ebooks in India. More recently, raids were conducted by police and NCERT in Gurugram, which uncovered several shops selling pirated NCERT books for classes 6 to 12. The shopkeepers were reportedly purchasing these books from suppliers in different areas and selling them in the market at cheaper rates, causing significant revenue loss to the NCERT.
