Indian publishing to make a splash at LBF

At LBF 2019, get set to see Indian Pavilion, besides many individual publishers and the Gandhi Archive’s celebration of Gandhi 150.

In 2017, The London Book Fair (LBF) hosted a Spotlight on India which included a series showcasing Indian publishing to the global book trade at LBF. But LBF 2019 (March 12- 14, 2019), looks to be an even bigger showcase for Indian publishing with a Pavilion, many individual publishers and the Gandhi Archive’s celebration of Gandhi 150.

In March 2019, The London Book Fair will be working with the Indian government’s export trade body Capexil to stage a Capexil Pavilion. This Pavilion will provide a focus of Indian publishing at LBF with publishers from Children’s, Technology and Academic and from across India all taking part. This enhanced Indian exhibit at this year’s Fair will showcase the global importance of India’s publishing industry, with a particular focus on its digital innovation.

LBF is also welcoming the Gandhi Archives in celebration of Gandhi150, which will sure to be a big crowd puller. LBF is delighted to be welcoming so many Indian publishers and technology companies to London in March.
