White Crane, Lend me your wings: A Tibetan tale of Love & War, authored by Dr Tsewang Yishey Pemba and published by Niyogi Books, dramatises the critical point in history when China invades Tibet, forcing it out of its isolation and is a historical fiction which also is a plaintive plea for the return of exiled Tibetans to their homeland. The book was launched in the presence of Tenzing Sonam, director, White Cranes Production; Vijay Kranti, journalist, author & Tibetologist; Lhamo Pemba, daughter of author Dr Pemba and poet and academic Shelly Bhoil.

Ajmer Sharif: Awakening of Sufism in South Asia, authored by Reema Abbasi and published by Niyogi Books, is an in-depth researched work on the history, spiritual journey and enduring legacy of the Sufi saint Khwaja Muinuddin Chisti Ajmer Sharif. The book describes the life and times of the Saint and the continued relevance of his much-visited shrine at Ajmer Sharif. The book was released in New Delhi with eminent Classical danseuse and researcher activist Manjari Chaturvedi and 26th Generation Gaddi-Nasin, Ajmer Sharif, Haji Syed Salman Chishty, in conversation with the author.

Maps of Delhi, authored by Dr Pilar Maria Guerrieri and published by Niyogi Books was launched in the presence of academic, author & heritage activist Narayani Gupta; cartographer & founder & CEO of ML Infomap Manoshi Lahiri; author, art historian & curator William Dalrymple & architect, urban planner & conservation consultant of INTACH AG Krishna Menon.

Sacred Sorrows of Sparrows: A Collection of Lives, authored by Siddharth Dasgupta, is a collection of ten short stories, one both universal in canvas yet decidedly ethnic in fabric. Published by Niyogi Books, the book was launched in the presence of poet and novelist Pervin Saket, filmmaker and screenwriter Shikha Makan and publisher of the book Trisha De Niyogi.

Relevance of Traditional Cultures for the Present and the Future, edited by Ambassador K. Raghunath and Ambassador Nalin Surieand published by Konark Publishers in association with IIC-International Research Division, New Delhi, was released by M Hamid Ansari, Vice President of India while the event was chaired by Soli J. Sorabjee, president, India International Centre.

It has become largest book having one of the largest word counts in English literature and now at serial no. 6 of Wikipedia compilation. The book has six volumes and is written by Dr. Mulki Radhakrishna Shetty with 137,788 couplets 1,168,687 words in 5094 pages.
