Amazon shuts down Westland Publishing House
In a surprise move, Amazon has announced the closure of Indian publishing company Westland Books, which it had acquired from Trent Limited, a subsidiary of the Tata Group in 2016. Westland has Context, Tranquebar, Eka (for non-English Indian languages) and Westland as its imprints. Some of the famous authors at Westland include Chetan Bhagat and Amish Tripathi.
