A big thank you to all!

Five years back, seeing the dearth of a publication in the book segment, we initiated All About Book Publishing, with the sole aim to become the mouth organ of the industry. We have always tried our best to project the latest trends and inform about the major happenings in the industry. Our other trade publications include: Print & Publishing, All About Newspapers, Sign & Graphics, to name a few. The last five years have seen tremendous happenings in the industry – e-books vs print books, online vs brick-and-mortar shops, mergers and acquisitions in the industry, new foreign/local entrants, etc. The industry has seen its highs and lows but one thing is certainly coming out – the industry is growing with new publishing houses and new breed of authors. This trend will continue to spread information, knowledge and entertainment – though the format may vary.

Our journey has been phenomenal – meeting so many like-minded people and learning about the nuances of the industry – while some were startling, others just left us in more admiration for the industry. We thank all our well-wishers and supporters for having faith in us and for making us a part of this magnificent industry and look forward to similar support in future as well.

The New Delhi World Book Fair 2015 starts on February 14 – the day earmarked to celebrate love. What better way to celebrate love for books than a show of this magnitude? There’s a buzz that lot of red roses would be available at the venue (Pragati Maidan, New Delhi) making it an ideal place to be on this day. NBT, India and ITPO have taken up many new initiatives in this fair, which will be appreciated by one and all.

Globally, another major book fair – London Book Fair is on the cards. These two must-attend events will further augment the fact that the publishing industry is got to stay for time immemorial. It may not be the best time for the industry, but the industry is bound to grow as it serves the noble deed of knowledge dissemination.
