Defence minister Manohar Parrikar releases 4th edition of Defence Update 2015

Honourable defence minister of India, Manohar Parrikar released the fourth edition of the global military yearbook Brahmand World Defence Update 2015, published by Pentagon Press, at the BrahMos pavilion during the inaugural day of Aero India airshow at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bangalore.

Sudhir Mishra, CEO & MD of BrahMos Aerospace, handed over the first copy of the yearbook to Manohar Parrikar. The Foreword of the yearbook has been written by Raksha Rajya Mantri Rao Inderjit Singh.

The Brahmand World Defence Update 2015 provides incisive, comprehensive and up-to-date facts, figures and data on the armed forces around the world.

Besides covering military capabilities of 113 countries worldwide including 33 strategic ones, the book, in its latest issue, has also given special thrust on the emerging missile technology aspect which is set to influence the battlefields of tomorrow in a major way.
