Pratham Books collaborates with Nobel laureate Esther Duflo

Pratham Books is publishing five books authored by Nobel laureate Esther Duflo and illustrated by Cheyenne Oliver. Esther Duflo has been associated with Pratham Books for an extended period. Notably, upon receiving the Nobel Prize alongside Abhijit Banerjee, she generously contributed a collection of Pratham Books to the Nobel Prize museum.

The set of these first five children’s books was created in French language and will be published Pratham Books in five Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Bengali, and Tamil, aligning with Pratham Books’ 20th-anniversary and celebrating reading amongst children. They aim to distribute these books widely, ensuring that children across India have access to books in their native language.
