Afro Asian Book Conclave focuses on book publishing and printing

Capexil recently organized a full day event Afro-Asian Book Conclave on Book Publishing and Printing – Opportunities & Challenges in New Delhi. The chief guest to the event was Sunil Kumar IAS, joint secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India.

The welcome address was given by Sukumar Das, chairman, Northern Region, CAPEXIL. While, an overview of Indian printing industry was given by Satish Malhotra, chairman, Paper, Paper Board and Paper Products Panel, CAPEXIL. While, Sandeep Kaushik of Macaw Books gave an insight into children book publishing and Sesh Seshadri of Lonely Planet India Pvt Ltd gave future prospects of the ebook industry.

There were also deliberations & interactive session by ambassador Deepak Vohra and other dignitaries. An interactive Q&A session also regaled the audience.
