The Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP), the representative body of publishers across India, successfully concluded its 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM). The newly elected Governing Body is as follows: Immediate Past President: Naveen Gupta, President: Ramesh Mittal, Vice President: Pranav Gupta, Secretary: Pushpita Ghosh, Joint Secretary: Neeraj Govil, Treasurer: Dr. Ashok Gupta and Immediate Past President: Naveen Gupta. Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Mittal, newly elected President of FIP, expressed his gratitude to the members for their confidence and support. He emphasised that the Federation will continue to play a pivotal role in addressing the challenges of the publishing sector, embracing digital opportunities, advocating for stronger copyright protection, and ensuring the growth and global presence of Indian publishing. While, Vice President Pranav Gupta highlighted the importance of collective action and innovation in strengthening the publishing ecosystem. He reiterated the Federation’s focus on building stronger collaborations with stakeholders, fostering readership, and encouraging policy initiatives that support education and knowledge dissemination.
