NBT-India’s mobile book exhibition flagged off

National Book Trust, India’s month-long Delhi University Mobile Book Exhibition was recently flagged-off by Prof Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, Delhi University and Yuvraj Malik, Director, NBT at North Campus, Delhi University.

Prof Yogesh Singh, while flagging-off the mobile exhibition said that NBT’s mobile exhibition is a commendable step taken towards promoting books and reading among the young generation. While, Yuvraj Malik said that creating a dynamic book reading culture is a major contributor to developing global citizens which has been envisaged in the National Education Policy 2020. As the knowledge partner of the nation, it is NBT’s vision to connect every corner of the country with the main stream of the country. The mobile book exhibition commemorates the 100 years of Delhi University. It will visit different colleges on the North and South campus. Other than the focus segment of books on India’s freedom movement – India@75 series (on the occasion of 75 years of India’s independence); the exhibition will also showcase a collection of works by the famous nationalist philosopher Shri Aurobindo, celebrating his 150th birth anniversary.
