Niyogi Books bags three awards for excellent production!

Chai, The Experience of Indian Tea, has been adjudged the best ‘Art Book’ (English) published during 2014 by the Federation of Indian Publishers. The coffee-table book published by Niyogi Books takes the readers on to a pictorial journey through time, into the heartlands of tea across India. It offers a varied selection of the universally popular brew.

Another Niyogi Books publication Megha Meets Vishwakarma-The Story of Indian Crafts has won the first prize in the General Books Category (English). The jacket (English) of the book Rajasthan—Exploring Painted Shekhawati also finds a place among the award winners this year.

Niyogi Books has over 250 books on its active list. It is recognised for its high-quality illustrated books on a range of subjects from art and photography to heritage, culture and history of South Asia. Last year too, its three titles won Excellence in Book Printing Awards. The first prize in Art Book Category was claimed by Niyogi Books. Two of its travel books The Alluring North and The Vibrant West received the prestigious National Tourism Award from the president of India.
