The 6th edition of Kerala Literature Festival, organised by the DC Kizhakemuri Foundation, is happening from February 4-6, 2022, with the inaugural ceremony on February 3 evening, at the beaches of Calicut, Kerala, India. The event is also endorsed and supported by the Government of Kerala. Prof. K. Satchidanandan, well known poet & writer, is the Festival Director.

Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) is envisioned as a platform for discussions on various subjects. Conceived as Kerala’s first major literature festival, the event brings writers, thinkers and activists closer, to people of different backgrounds and interests.

The 5th edition of KLF witnessed a record breaking footfall of 270,000 people across the course of the 4 days of the festival, who attended various sessions conducted by about 500 guest speakers and authors. Touted as the “grandest celebration of words, ideas, and stories,” the Kerala Literature Festival has swiftly become one of the largest cultural gatherings in Asia and the largest in South India.
