Hindi version of The History of Lithuania released

Published by Yatra Books, Lithuania Ka Itihas is the Hindi version of The History of Lithuania. The book was recently released in New Delhi by the Embassy of Lithuania, in presence of a panel of dignitaries including Lithuanian foreign secretary Laimonas Talat-Kelpsa, former union minister MJ Akhbar and others. “India and Lithuania have strong cultural links, but little is known about each another. This book is designed to bridge the cultures between the two countries,” said Laimonas, adding that Gandhi and linguistic roots of Sanskrit are two important factors that bind the two countries. Lithuania Ka Itihas is a concise compilation of articles by leading Lithuanian historians.
