GLOBALOCAL: The Forum for Content 2014

German Book Office, New Delhi in collaboration with Frankfurt Book Fair, Germany, is organising Globalocal: The Forum for Content 2014 from February 13-14, 2014 at New Delhi. This 5th edition of the event will focus on increasing one on one networking opportunities within the publishing and allied industries. The forum includes a mix of roundtables, rights & licenses training, business matchmakings, keynote presentations and networking breaks.

New formats introduced in this year’s edition include thematic workshops with a practical approach to market-relevant topics led by experienced practitioners in the chosen fields, and an Experts’ Table consisting of a panel of industry experts who can be approached by participants for advice and suggestions specific to their needs.

The customized guided tour for international guests Exclusive India introduced last year as a run up to GLOBALOCAL, will be held again three days prior to the conference in New Delhi. The objective this year is to provide an overview of the digital industry, and the publishing and printing industries in India. Chennai and Delhi are on the itinerary for Exclusive India 2014. The participants will then attend the conference in New Delhi and thereafter go on a guided tour of the New Delhi World Book Fair on the first day of the event (February 15, 2014), culminating this experiential discovery of the publishing and allied industries in India.
