Since last fifty years Prabhat Prakashan have been providing top notch literature in almost all segments to their wide class of readers. They have established themselves as an unique publication house of Hindi literature with a credit of having published over 5,000 books till now. They have been practicing the principle of ‘Good Books at Right Price’ since their establishment in the year 1958.

For outstanding quality Prabhat Prakashan has become world’s first Hindi publishing house by attaining ISO 9001: 2008 from ‘Moody’- an international certifying agency. They also received first prize for ‘Nobility in Publication’ many times in last 20 years by Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP). In a survey conducted in approx 60 cities in the country by ICMR (Indian Council of Market Research) it also identified them as ‘Star Brand’ for popularity in the area of book publication.

To amplify the interest of readers in literature they publish popular titles under ‘Prabhat Paperbacks’ at very low cost and also publish excellent titles in English language under ‘Ocean Book Pvt Ltd.’ With the editorial guidance of world renowned Pandit Vidhyanivas Mishr, the house also started publication of Sahitya Amrit, a literary monthly in 1995, which is now a popular name in literary world.

During last two decades, they received first prize from FIP for ‘Excellence in Book Production.’
