Publishing seems a natural progression for offset printers. And many such printer-turned-publishers have proved that they can bring out the best of the titles, both in terms of content and production. One of the recent ones to join this bandwagon is New Delhi-based Mehta Publishers, which has forayed into children publishing.
With more than 250 titles in children books category in a record one year, Mehta Publishers is all set to make its mark in the publishing industry. This offset printer tuned publisher has been publishing medical books since 1980 and has 60-70 titles in this category. But the major impetus today is children books.

“Our USP is that our children books are created by overseas authors, from countries like Holland, Australia, Spain, etc. Not only authorship, our illustrators also hail from overseas countries. This is mainly because our target audience is international market, especially in countries like US, South America, Europe, etc,” told Gautam Mehta of Mehta Publishers.

More recently, Mehta Publishers had exhibited at the Frankfurt Book Fair and got encouraging response for rights marketing, etc from Portuguese speaking countries like Spain and Italy.
