Book on poems on trains released

Over and Underground in Mumbai & Paris by Karthika Nair, Sampurna Chattarji and illustrated by Roshni Vyam and Joelle Jolivet was released in New Delhi recently. Alexander Ziegler, Ambassador of France, remarked that this is a collection of poems around the train systems of Paris and Mumbai. “It is a fantastic exchange between the two authors and remarkable flow between text and images. This amazing book is one of the many projects of Bonjour India . Bonjour India tries to foster dialogue and a platform for encounters and partnership. We are collectively happy to lend support to this book. I find it a joyful and profound collection of poems,” he added.

While, V Karthika said, “Here text and art shapes come together – keeping the essence of poetry. At every level this is a book which is a delight of four minds and heart. I think it has taken the shape of a remarkable and wonderful work.”
