Om Books International launches Satyagraha

Based on Prakash Jha’s film Satyagraha, Om Books International recently released Satyagraha: The Story Behind the Revolution penned by young author Pooja Verma at New Delhi. Attended at the launch session included the film’s director Prakash Jha and star casts including Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao. During the interaction session, Prakash Jha mentioned that they are happy as the book comes out almost simultaneously with the release of the film.

The book is designed in the form of social media. “Of course, social media plays a very intrinsic part of Satyagraha as it has become a new language of young people,” added Prakash Jha. Author Pooja Verma also mentioned that the film raises some questions which she translates them into print in her book.
