Exhibition on ‘Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore: a visionary, artist & poet’

Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) recently organized an exhibition on Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore: A Visionary, Artist & Poet (From IGNCA Collections) from May 10 -20, 2011 . Visitors to the exhibition were impressed with an array of beautiful portraits and book written by and on him.

During the exhibition, a special lecture on “Tagore and his reception in the West” by Prof. IN Choudhary, former academic director, IGNCA and a well-known scholar in the field was also organized.
