Coffee table book on women’s cricket launched

Authored by Anjum Chopra, legendary women cricketer of India and Sunil Yash Kalra, women’s cricket filmmaker, Women’s Cricket World: Journey from 1745 to 2013 was launched on February 8, 2011 in New Delhi. As special guests of honours, ICC president Sharad Pawar and Ajay Maken, minister of state (independent charge), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports along with other prominent personalities from the arena of Indian sports, KSP Gill and Bishan Singh Bedi, were present at the launch of the special coffee table book. “The years 1745 and 2013 inscribed on the cover of the book signify two important dates when the first women’s test cricket took place in England and the year India will host women’s cricket world cup,” says Anjum.

The book was printed at Arun & Rajiv Pvt Ltd using HP Indigo Press that enables high definition digital printing and an evolution in the book print eco-system where personalized short-run prints can be delivered on demand.
