AUD offers PG Diploma in publishing

With the aim to produce well-rounded professionals who aspire to make a career in publishing, a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Publishing is offered by Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) since 2013. This programme covers all the aspects of traditional and modern publishing activities to develop a talent pool of well trained and employable professionals competent to perform a variety of different roles in the publishing industry.

Divided into two semesters, the course comprises core and elective papers, field-based internship and a project. The students can choose electives from courses offered in the second semester. Students are required to undergo an internship with a publishing organisation for eight weeks between semesters I and II. And during the second semester, students will be assigned to groups and will simulate a book/ magazine publishing company or a web publishing project. Graduates with minimum 50 percent marks (or an equivalent grade) from a recognised university in any discipline are eligible for the course.

The available seats for the course are 20. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of a degree can also apply.
