An absorbing book launch on Thanjavur, the cultural city

Thanjavur—A Cultural History a book of 220 pages, written by Pradeep Chakravarty and published by Niyogi Books, was launched in Chennai. It was an absorbing launch with the veteran from book field of Chennai giving an impressive introduction, Leela Samson, a noted figure in Chennai cultural circle, called for a wider attention to our culture and Babaji Rajah Bhonsle from Maratha dynasty, which ruled Thanjavur, recalled how he encouraged the author giving tips and details from his repertoire.
