Olivannan is a mechanical engineer with a postgraduate degree in business administration from the Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai. As the CEO of Emerald Publishers, a 40-year-old publishing organization, Olivannan is an enterprising leader in the field.As the founder-President of the Chennai Literary Festival and founder of the Chennai Book Club, Olivannan has also spearheaded online initiatives such as Varungal Padaipom. He served as Charter Chairman for the Chennai Chapter of Bharat Yuva Sakthi Trust, an organization committed to entrepreneurial development and mentoring.
