“Bharat Pavilion” Shines at Frankfurt Book Fair 2024
The prestigious “Bharat Pavilion” at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2024 (October 16-20) was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Consul General of India in Frankfurt, B.S. Mubarak. A significant B2B international event, the Frankfurt Book Fair is a global platform for publishers, printers, and booksellers to forge business connections. This year, the Bharat Pavilion became a focal point for trade visitors eager to explore and collaborate with Indian publishers and printers renowned for their high-quality services and competitive pricing. Indian companies representing the publishing and printing sectors participated in the pavilion, which was thoughtfully designed with system-built stands. These stands, set up in two rows facing each other, were an attractive hub for business discussions, creating an excellent environment for forging new partnerships and finalising deals. A striking feature of the pavilion was its decoration with inspiring quotes from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, highlighting the vital role of books and publishing in the global economy.
Participants worldwide were drawn to the Bharat Pavilion not only to purchase books from Indian publishers but also to explore outsourcing printing opportunities with Indian printers who boast world-class infrastructure. CAPEXIL, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has been instrumental in organising India’s participation in international exhibitions for nearly five decades.
