Hindi translation of Allison Busch’s book to be published soon

On the fifth death anniversary of the renowned scholar Allison Busch,who was the Professor of Hindi Literature in the Department of Middle Eastern South Asian, and African Studies at Columbia University, Vani Prakashan Group has announced that Allison‘s important book ‘Poetry of Kings – The Classical Hindi Literature of Mughal India’ will soon be published. The Hindi translation has been done by Reyazul Haque. The foreword has been written by Dalpat Rajpurohit, Assistant Professor in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of Texas, Austin.

Paying tribute on the death anniversary of Allison Busch, Arun Maheshwari, Managing Director of Vani Prakashan Group, said, “Allison Busch’s is among the foremost scholars of Hindi. This book, which unveils unexplored layers of ‘Ritikavya’, will illuminate new dimensions of Hindi criticism. We are grateful to Sheldon Pollock and Dalpat Rajpurohit for making it possible for us to publish this book at Vani.”
