The Jaipur Literature Festival made its American debut with the first edition of JLF@Boulder held from September 19-20 at the Boulder Public Library and Civic Lawns. Featuring more than 40 sessions, readings, musical performances and workshops, it brought a glimpse of what’s been dubbed ‘the greatest literary show on Earth’ to the Flatirons of Boulder, Colorado.

The Festival brought together Native American, Latino, African American, Asian American and Indian American voices to explore and read from their work. The programme for JLF@Boulder included panel discussions and audience Q&A, and features a range of themes of local and international interest such as environment, migration, gender, religion and identity, politics and war in the Middle East as well as literary themes such as translation, poetry and oral literary traditions.
