Andaleeb Wajid scoops the 2024 Neev Book award

The 2024 Neev Book Award was presented to Andaleeb Wajid for her book, The Henna Start-Up, published by Duckbill, an imprint of Penguin Random House India at the Neev Literature Festival in Bangalore.

The Neev Book Award (NBA) for distinguished children’s literature aims to recognize outstanding writing that leads to a fuller understanding of India, Indian lives, and Indian stories.

Andaleeb Wajid is a hybrid author, having published more than 45 novels in the past 14 years. Andaleeb enjoys writing in a number of different genres such as young adult, romance, and horror.
