Celebrating motherhood!

The Delhi launch of the recent Pickle Yolk Books title MOMMIES, written by Richa Jha, illustrated by Priya Sebastian and edited by Archana Atri, saw a most wholesome conversation on the multiple narratives around motherhood on July 22 at the India International Centre, Delhi at the event ‘Good Mom, Bad Mom and Motherhood’s Shifting Paradigms.’

The lived realities of their own unusual and iconoclastic motherhood journeys, alongside other perspectives and insights, shared with utmost honesty by the three inimitable speakers Pooja Pande, writer, editor, TED speaker and co-CEO of Chambal Media; Kavita Bundelkhandi, co-founder and editor-in-chief of Khabar Lahariya and the first Dalit member of the Editor’s Guild of India and Vandana Sharma, advocate, Delhi Courts, packed a powerful punch, and left the attendees with much food for thought.
