Workshops on reading, writing and publishing

Academy of Literary Arts and Publishing Singapore is organising a series of workshops on reading, writing and publishing in Singapore. These include: Songwriting – write one in a day! (January 17, 2015, trainer: Desmond Moey, singer-songwriter and show producer); Appreciating contemporary poetry (January 31, 2015, Trainer: Nilanjana Sengupta, visiting scholar, Asia Research Institute, NUS); Intensive and extensive reading (March 7, 2015, Trainer: Dr George Jacobs, learning advisor, JCU); Introduction to copyediting (March 23, 2015, Trainer: Swee Leng Teoh, editorial consultant); and Writing and illustrating picture books (March 28, 2015, Trainer: Lee Kow Fong, promoter and creator of children’s books in Singapore).
