Jaipur Literature Festival holds first ever UK events at Southbank Centre

The Jaipur Literature Festival, the world’s largest free literary festival, traveled to London this May to host their first ever events outside of India. Jaipur Literature Festival has partnered with the world renowned Southbank Centre and curated a day-long festival of books and ideas on May 18, 2014 as part of Alchemy, the Southbank Centre’s festival of South Asian culture. It brought unmissable caravan of writers, thinkers, poets and balladeers including Vikram Seth, Kwasi Kwarteng, Mary Beard, Amit Chaudhuri, Kamila Shamsie, Maya Jassanoff, Rana Mitter, Tahmima Anam and many more.

JLF will be held from January 21-25, 2015 at Diggi House, Jaipur.
