Sapna opens its 11th book store

When brick and mortar bookstores are slowing down, it is heartening to share that Bengaluru based Sapna Book House Pvt Ltd, one of the leading publishers of Kannada and English books in India, recently unveiled its eleventh book store (spread over 15,000 sq ft) at the Royal Meenakshi Mall, Bannerghatta Road in Bengaluru. The store was inaugurated by Subroto Bagchi, co-founder and chairman, Mind Tree Ltd in presence of Sri Shivarudramahaswamiji and other eminent guests. The event was presided by SL Bhyrappa – a renowned Kannada novelist while Dr P Satishchandra, director/VC, NIMHANS was the chief guest at the occasion.

Sapna presently has six stores in Bengaluru and one each at Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli and Coimbatore. Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Shah, managing director of Sapna said, “We are delighted to expand our horizons. We are sure to receive outstanding public response.” Enhancing the Sapna shopping experience are the store’s various customer-friendly schemes including Privilege Cards for Sapna loyalists, Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards for shopping convenience. Sapna has been conferred the ‘Best Publisher Award’ by Govt of Karnataka on behalf of Kannada Book Authority. They are also the recipients of ‘Best Book Seller Award’ by FIP (Federation of Indian Publishers) and ‘Distinguished Publisher Award’ by Federation of Educational Publishers in India, New Delhi.
