Dada Saheb Phalke Award to Aadarsh Pvt Ltd

Aadarsh Pvt Ltd got an award for Purple Turtle animation ‘The Case of the Missing Cupcakes’ at the 4th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, New Delhi. Commenting on the achievement NK Krishnanand, head- licensing and publishing, Purple Turtle said, “It is a matter of great honour that Purple Turtle’s episode ‘The Case of the Missing Cupcakes’ has won the prestigious award at 4th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. We had the best talent from across the world to work for the episode. Script was written by Emmy Award winner Jymn Magon from USA. Music came from Emmy Award winner company Intermusic Inc USA. Toonz Animation Pte Ltd did the animation. Angus Fletcher from UK played a very active role in direction along with creative director Hari Verma.”

‘The Case of missing Cupcakes’ exhibits the story of Purple Turtle, world’s cutest turtle along with his friends Zing, Biggy, Melody, Roxy and more, and displays a very exciting, entertaining and adventurous animation series made for children.

The Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival is a not-to-profit, non-commercial & India’s only independent film festival, with a mission to celebrate the cinema & work of aspiring, young, independent & professional filmmakers. The festival is important for Indian film industry as it is organised on April 30 each year to mark the birth anniversary of Late Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, who is regarded as the father of Indian cinema.
