Pan Macmillan releases book on life and mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar

Published by Pan Macmillan, The Extraordinary Life and Death of Sunanda Pushkar by Sunanda Mehta is revelation of an untold story revolving around the extraordinary life and mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar, a businesswoman and wife of politician Shahi Tharoor. At the recent release of the book in New Delhi, author Sunanda Mehta had panel conversation with Nalini Singh, senior journalist and Meeran Chadha Borwankar, IPS & DG (Retd.), moderated by journalist Kaveree Bamzai.

Author Sunanda is journalist and former schoolmate of Pushkar. Her book traces Pushkar’s early days in cantonment towns, first two marriages and rise as a Dubai businesswoman, followed by much publicized years with Tharoor until the mysterious death on 17th January 2014. Author Sunanda says her book is a definitive biography of Pushkar’s life and its turbulent end.
