Sahitya Akademi completes 60 years!

For the last 60 years, Sahitya Akademi promotes and publishes literary works of various authors of 24 languages. To commemorate this, there will be a yearlong diamond jubilee celebration, which would be a delight for all lovers of literature. According to Dr K Sreenivasarao, secretary, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, “This year, being a special year we are planning to have some special events, which include All India Women’s Writers Festival, Young Writers Festival and Theatre Festival. There will be many literary workshops and seminar as well coupled with stage performances, in the evening.”
