Publishing veteran Sesh Seshadri honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award

At Chennai Book Fair held recently, one of the most established names in the publishing industry – Sesh Seshadri – was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his indispensable contribution to the Indian publishing industry spanning over four decades.

Currently, Sesh is the director of Lonely Planet India, and has played a vital role in Lonely Planet’s entry into the Indian market and continues to create a sustained and successful presence for the brand in India. He also heads his publishing consulting company O.V.E.R.L.E.A.F, established in 1997, which works towards furnishing classrooms with quality learning and providing world class teaching resources.

Besides, he has been the founder director at Textech that specializes in providing academic solutions in the form of books and e-books. He has also been associated with Oxford University Press (OUP) for over 25 years and with Dorling Kindersley India, serving as executive director.
