Publishing Next 2019

The eighth edition of Publishing Next, the annual conference on the future of publishing, will be held from September 19-22, 2019, at the Goa Science Centre, Miramar (Panaji), Goa.

During this edition the sessions will revisit the basic tenets of publishing – there are masterclasses on editing, book production and the marketing of books; open mic sessions on the author-editor relationship, and on book reviews; and panel discussions on book retail, and on collaborations between publishers. Sessions centred around self-publishing, on the factors that contribute to the sustainability of publishing businesses, on the economics of translation imprints, and on bibliodiversity, have also been scheduled.
