New chairman of NBT, India

Prof.Govind Prasad Sharma is  the new Chairman of National Book Trust, India (NBT). He is an author and an educationist. Prof. Govind Prasad Sharma, has served as the Principal of Government PG College, Madhya Pradesh. Later, he was appointed as the Additional Director of Higher Education (Gwalior Chambal Division) and has also been the Director of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Akademi. Having worked extensively in the field of education, Prof. Sharma has also worked in the capacity of Vice Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education as well as Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Textbook Writing Standing Committee. He is the author of more than six academic books and has edited a few collected works as well. In addition, Prof. Govind Prasad Sharma has published numerous research papers.
