Ricoh continue focus on the book publishing segment

The Ricoh India stand at the recently concluded PAMEX ’13 in New Delhi showcased a host of digital printing machines. These included their machines for the publishing segment. Infact, their stand at PAMEX’13 was formally inaugurated by Subhasis Ganguli, vice president, production and content management, Pearson Group and Vinod Rajpal, a long time well-known user of Ricoh machines. They were joined by SK Khurana, editor, Print & Publishing; Avijit Mukherjee, chief operating officer, production printing business group – Ricoh India; and Anjana Saha, national marketing manager, Ricoh India.

Besides other machines, Ricoh showcased IP5000/IP7000 printers, which are doing very well since their launch. “We were targeting these printers for the publishing segment and it gives immense pleasure to share that we have been able to achieve our targets for the publishing segment. For short-run and advance copies in publishing, publishers are shifting towards these machines,” told Avijit Mukherjee, chief operating officer, production printing business group – Ricoh India.

The machines garnered lot of interest at the show from publishers as well as service providers to the publishing industry.
