RIP celebrity chef Tarla Dalal

Prolific cookbook author and one of the most popular chef Tarla Dalal died of a heart attack in Mumbai recently. She was 77. She has written a total of 170 titles, several of which have been translated in various languages like Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali and even Dutch and Russian! The total sales of her cookery books exceed four million copies. She was also awarded the Padma Shri in 2007.
