This trilogy is the first ever attempt at a systematic study of all speeches attributed to Dr Ambedkar. In all, as many as 537 speeches have been identified (and presented in a Complete Bibliography). Of these, 500 speeches have been reviewed and analysed, relating them to landmark developments in the country on one hand, and the ups and downs in the course of Dr Ambedkar’s most eventful public life on the other.

Another interesting book Emergency Retold, authored by Kuldip Nayar was released by chief guest HK Dua, veteran journalist and MP (Rajya Sabha). The author Kuldip Nayar says, “The true story behind Emergency, why it was declared and what it meant is relevant now since the driving force was corruption which is the watch word again”. With a new preface, the author reacquaints the current reader with the facts, lies and truths in an easy-to-understand, analytical style.
