17th Delhi Book Fair 2011, New Delhi

Delhi Book Fair has established itself as a gateway to the Indian book publishing industry. An eagerly awaited exposition, it offers a sales forum and a meeting place for publishers, booksellers authors, translators and book-lovers of all age group. The 17th edition of Delhi Book Fair is scheduled from August 27 – September 04, 2011 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Publishing Industry in India has grown from small and ancient beginnings into a vast and complex industry. India is the only country in the world that publishes books in more than 24 languages. With more than 16,000 publishing houses generating content in different regional languages, around 90,000 titles are published every year.
