Good news for exhibitors at the Frankfurt Book Fair

Thanks to a change in the law, participation at Frankfurt Book Fair will be cheaper for some exhibitors in future. From now on, under certain circumstances, exhibitors from outside Germany will be entitled to receive invoices free of VAT (currently 19 percent).

Tools Of Change for Publishing (TOC) Frankfurt is the European offshoot of TOC New York, the leading conference on publishing technology and innovation. When the Frankfurt Book Fair and O’Reilly Media teamed up to bring Tools of Change to Frankfurt last year, around 350 professionals from over 30 countries answered the call to explore the future of publishing beyond geographic and traditional industry boundaries. Following two successful years, Tools of Change for Publishing (TOC) Conference will return to Frankfurt, Germany on October 11, 2011, the eve of the Frankfurt Book Fair (October 12 – 16).

Besides, German Book Office is celebrating the German Year in India for fifteen months.
