Besides Bal Bhagwat who has translated the book in Marathi, present on the dais were special public prosecutor, Ujjwal Nikam, and retired army officer, Maj. Gen. Shashikant Pitre. The Marathi book has been published by Mehta Publishing House (MPH).

Sunil Mehta of the MPH made the introductory speech and Bal Bhagwat presented the translator’s observation.

Maj. Gen. Shashikant Pitre maintained that it was wrong to believe that terrorism or Al-Qaida will end, now that Laden is no more. In his observations on Obama to Osama: Consequences on India, Ujjwal Nikam traced the history of global terrorism with particular reference to Pakistan. India will continue to be under the threat of terrorism unless and until democracy does not flourish in Pakistan.
