Oxford University Press recently released a title Who goes to school? Exploring exclusion in Indian education, edited by R Govinda. The chief guest to the occasion was Kapil Sibal, honorable minister of human resource development & communications and information technology, Govt. of India. The welcome address was given by Manzar Khan, managing director, Oxford University Press while Andre Beteille, professor, emeritus of Sociology, University of Delhi & national research professor, spoke on the loopholes in the education system in India.
