Economic and Trade relationship shall be the pillars of building a strong Indo-Central Asia strategic partnership, which already have a solid historic and cultural foundation. This was the central theme of discussions held by experts at the launch of the book The Trade Game – Engaging with Central Asia, authored by Amiya Chandra.

At the launch, Chandra highlighted the strategy that India and Indian business and export houses can adopt to counter the handicap of overland accessibility to Central Asia.Shakti Sinha was the moderator of the discussion while the panel included Amb. Ashoke Kumar Mukerji, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to India, Durdyyev Parahat Hommadovich, Professor Sharad Soni along with Dr Chandra.

This book is a revised extension of the previous edition, India-Central Asia Relations: The Economic Dimension, and delves deeper into the complex and intricate geopolitical, security and economic relationship of India with Central Asia.
