It’s not just publishers who benefit from book fair, booksellers and distributors can equally benefit from such fairs. Delhi Book Store recently participated at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2014 and was delighted with the response they got for their newly published handbooks on variety of subjects. The recently concluded New Delhi World Book Fair 2014 was truly a mecca of knowledge and one of the major contributors to this huge knowledge was the stand of Delhi Book Store (DBS), which attracted a lot of visitors. These included not just the general public but also the booksellers and librarians across the country.

DBS is not just one of pioneer bookstores in Asia, they have also diversified into publishing – DBS IMPRINTS, which has already made an indelible mark with their well researched titles, especially their series of handbooks on different subjects like agriculture, chemistry, social problems, etc. At NDWBF, these handbooks were much appreciated and they got export orders from countries like USA, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Besides other relevant and contextual titles, DBS IMPRINTS has recently published a key series on Library Science, targeted at academicians, researchers and practitioners who are involved in information science and library research. “We are now planning to launch 300 titles in next three years, including 100 titles of DBS Handbooks,” told Prateek Ahuja, CEO, DBS.
