Pentagon Press releases new book titled Global Terrorism

In presence of a host of distinguished guests comprising India’s vice president Mohammad Hamid Ansari; former union cabinet minister Natwar Singh; MJ Akbar, minister of state for external affairs; railway minister Suresh Prabhu and other political and thought leaders, Pentagon Press has recently released a new book titled Global Terrorism: Challenges and Policy Opinion, edited by Dhruv Katoch and Shakti, which is a compendium of the proceedings of the second edition of the Counter Terrorism Conference, organised by the Government of Rajasthan and India Foundation.

Indian president Pranab Mukherjee; Home minister Rajnath Singh; Ajit Doval, former Indian intelligence and law enforcement officer; Dr Abdulla Abdulla, chief executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan; Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed, Malaysian deputy home minister; Md Shariar Alam, external affairs minister, Bangladesh; Ibrahim Rahimpour, Iranian deputy minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs and others, who were keynote speakers at the second Counter Terrorism Conference, are the main contributors to Global Terrorism, giving an insight into the need for co-ordinated action by all countries of the world to fight terrorism and eliminate this scourge for an imperative world peace. The views by the eminent personalities delve into vast range of issues related to terrorism, and bring forth clarity on what can and should be done, in order to fight the biggest threat to the society.
