2011 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature
With 100 authors representing 26 nationalities across a broad spectrum of genres, the line-up of the 2011 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, is the most diverse and exciting yet. Award-winning writers and world-renowned thinkers including Adonis, Margaret Atwood, Bernard Cornwell, and Michael Palin will gather together in Dubai from March 8-12, 2011 for the 3rd Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. The Middle East’s largest annual literature festival is held under the patronage of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture).
“The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature has quickly established itself as one of the major literature festivals in the world and I’m delighted we have once again attracted the highest calibre of authors and thinkers from across the region and beyond”, said Isobel Abulhoul, festival director, Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. “In our third year, there will be big names discussing big issues and big ideas as well as numerous opportunities for book-lovers young and old to come face-to-face with both established authors, and up and coming writers.”
