34th International Publishers Congress to be held in December

Early bird tickets go on sale for the 34th International Publishers Congress, which will run from December 3-6, 2024 at Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas, under the theme: Turning Pages: Publishing and the Future Society.

Sharing news on the Congress, former IPA President, and current Mexican Publishers Association President, Hugo Setzer, said, “Having felt the energy and excitement of this year’s Guadalajara Book Fair, we can’t wait to bring publishers from around the world to this wonderful city and the extraordinary venue we have secured: El Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas.”

While Gvantsa Jobava, IPA Vice President and Chair of the Congress Programming Committee added, “We are preparing a very special Congress for 2024. We are delighted to announce Enrique Krauze as our first keynote. As an historian and a leading Mexican author, his special perspective on the pages our industry will turn in the future will be a real highlight of the Congress.”
