Nielsen to conduct new study on Indian book market


The Indian book industry is growing fast, but highly competitive with the mass presence of domestic and international publishers across the country. So, the industry is at a new juncture of both growth and competition. A big challenge in the industry is to keep up-to-date with the current digital and e-commerce trends. Bringing in-depth understating, Nielsen will conduct a comprehensive study on the Indian book market covering two important aspects – trade, academic/professional and school textbook publishers, retailers, distributors, etc and consumer purchasing power. Nielson Book has been part of the global book industry over the last 150 years, providing search and discovery, electronic trading, among other activities.
